For example Over 1 million marine animals including fish, sharks, and turtles are killed each year because of plastic debris in the ocean. It’s not just the environment, it’s also affecting human health by causing heart disease, lung cancer, and respiratory diseases. It’s not only bad for the environment and human health, it’s bad for our future. That’s why we need to fix this now and fast and we can if we all help.
